Acme Architectural Group (Acme) was founded in 1986, to serve a wide range of clients needing residential, commercial and industrial design services.
Over the years, Acme has designed and supervised the new construction or remodeling of dozens of private residences, commercial spaces, and industrial complexes.
Acme principal Richard Vaterlaus has been a licensed architect in the State of California since 1993.
During some of that time Richard served as a Building Inspector for the City of Oakland, where he learned first-hand what it takes to get plans through the system. As he often says, "The prettiest plans in the world aren't worth much if they won't get you the permits you need to build."
His knowledge of all phases and types of construction and depth of experience as an architect and business owner make him a uniquely qualified resource.
